ph34rchanRealized that I sorta have to expand my music taste ;;-_- . For the longest time I have been living off of various types of edm/idm such as breakcore, dnb, jungle, speedcore/extratone, house, trance, chiptune, nerdcore techno and even noise .. basically anything similar. I am very fascinated with how it works but also how most of it sounds, trackers ... sampling ... using literal gameboys and a shit ton of other cool stuff hgfhsdgd. all of it is genuinely so cool but I digress ..
As much as I LOVE lovelove edm, I feel like I gotta expand my taste ... I'm already into genres like ska, post-hardcore, nu metal and whatever prozzak and panchiko is .. but I start missing the cool sounds I hear in edm ;;-_- not saying that any of it bores me tho. I also thought about how much easier it is to talk about music to people who isn't into edm or find cd's in music stores.
I especially want to listen to more post-hardcore or ska, my favorite bands that fall under these two genres at the moment are The Used, Taking Back Sunday, MU330 and Slow Gherkin ^^. whoever is seeing this (somehow) .. drop a rec or something heheh . I'll still end up using last fm, bandcamp and anything like that to find cool music but being suggested something feels more exciting ...
(I still feel weird using soulseek .. er. honestly I don't know why I keep it on my taskbar ... looks cool I guess. don't kill me people)
